Copiapoa haseltoniana

L'areale di questa pianta si estende da nord di Taltal fino a nord di Paposo. Generalmente accestente, si distingue da cinerea per il colore della lanuggione apicale giallo-arancio e dal colore delle spine,generalmente ambrate, anche se esistono popolazioni con spine bianche ed altre a spina nera.Una forma montana di haseltoniana, ad est di Paposo, ad altitudini di 700/900 mt, viene chiamata eremophila. Pianta di non difficile coltivazione, negli ultimi anni e' divenuta tra le piu' diffuse in commercio.

 

 

The area of this plant extends from the north of Taltal to the north of Paposo. Generally accidental, it is distinguished from cinerea by the color of the yellow-orange apical flock and by the color of the thorns, generally amber, although there are populations with white spines and others with black thorns. A mountain form of haseltoniana, east of Paposo, altitudes of 700/900 meters, it is called eremophila. A plant that is not difficult to cultivate, in recent years it has become one of the most widespread on the market.
